Integrin α 4 β 7 controls lymphocyte trafficking into the gut and has essential roles in
inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The α 4 β 7-blocking antibody vedolizumab is approved
for IBD treatment; however, high dose of vedolizumab aggravates colitis in a small
percentage of patients. Herein, we show that integrin β 7 deficiency results in colonic
